About Healthonnews.

We are a small, independent newsroom that covers health the way it should have been covered all along.

Healthonnews is an editorial magazine for nutrition, movement, sleep, and the mind. We publish long-form essays that take the evidence seriously, that resist the marketing apparatus surrounding modern wellness, and that respect the time of the people reading.

How we report

Every claim in an essay is traceable to a peer-reviewed source, a large cohort study, an official guideline, or — when those don't exist — to the most credible expert consensus available, stated honestly as expert consensus rather than as settled fact. Where the literature is contested, we say so. Where it is thin, we say that, too.

We do not run sponsored articles. We do not include affiliate links inside editorial pieces. We do not accept free products in exchange for coverage. Advertising on the site, when present, is contextual and clearly marked.

Who writes

Articles are written by the editorial team and credited as The Editors unless an individual byline applies. Our writers come from backgrounds in clinical medicine, science journalism, behavioural psychology, and exercise physiology. We do not publish guest posts, sponsored bylines, or anonymous op-eds.

Corrections

When we get something wrong, we correct it in place and add a note at the bottom of the article. We do not silently re-edit published pieces. If you spot an error, please write to us using the address on the contact page.

A standing reminder

Nothing on Healthonnews is medical advice. We write for a general reader trying to make sense of a complicated field. For decisions about your own body, see a qualified clinician.
